From a travel blog to a baby blog...

As newlyweds, we frantically crammed 7 fabulous trips together before popping out babies. So this originated as a travel blog back in 2009....
But now we're trading in the suitcases and passports for strollers and poopy diapers! Yay for the greatest adventure of all: Parenthood!

Greening up our lives....

So over the past few years, we've really been "greening" up our lifestyle...

Vim, Windex, and scary drain cleaners have NOT been a part of our lives for a solid 3 years now.
We replaced those with products without harmful ingredients (like Method, and Seventh Generation, Norwex), and now I'm proud to say that we're even using our own simple household cleaners for certain tasks. Like how vinegar is the ONLY 'cleaning product' that has touched our kitchen counter-tops in the past 2 years. Lovin' it!

Happy to know that once baby J is into the whole ambulatory/exploratory phase, she can lick any surface in the house and mom won't flinch too much :)

In preparation for mountains of baby laundry, we've purchased a 4-tin pack of Nellie's All-Natural Laundry Detergent from Costco: four 100-load tins for only $62, and delivered straight to my house...

*sigh*.
.. I love Costco... but that's a story for another day! Anyways, great product - absolutely hypoallergenic and as natural as laundry soap can get and is now the only detergent we'll keep in our household.

SO EXCITED! I can't believe I am blogging about LAUNDRY SOAP on a FRIDAY NIGHT... I guess I really am nesting :-)

  1. I'm totally into this stuff...have you read the book "There's Lead in your Lipstick"? So interesting. Anyways, just starting to buy things so I would love your recommendations!

    Love this blog xo
